The Arizona Cardinals have over two-dozen unrestricted free agents

Many of whom they can afford to see go. Players like Domata Peko and Johnathan Joseph are way past their primes and in career twilight. Punter Andy Lee is also likely done. Ditto for a plethora of other names that the team will likely make little effort to re-sign.

However, as with every unrestricted free agent class, there are names the Arizona Cardinals can’t afford to get rid of. And if they may have a hard time trying to find the cap space to keep a specific player, they’re better off to at least put in an effort.

Last week, I wrote a post depicting three defensive players the Cardinals must re-sign. Players who will probably cost a large sum of money to keep around. Today’s post discusses three unrestricted offensive free agents the Cardinals must consider bringing back.

Now, the Cardinals have significantly fewer offensive players on the UFA list than defensive players. So the following names are best suited for a contributing role. However, each player proved in 2020 they can remain a legitimate asset to the team, even if the Cardinals are looking to upgrade their positions.

And unlike the defensive players mentioned in last week’s post, this trio won’t break the bank. Let’s discover which offensive players the Cardinals should re-sign and why.
