The Arizona Cardinals should be aggressive in free agency

And there are several high-profile but affordable players out there who can help the Arizona Cardinals right away. Assuming that J.J. Watt‘s monster deal is the team’s “prize free-agent signing,” the following players boast a more affordable consolation.

You won’t find any major stars in the following sections. But you will find productive players who have become solid contributors with their former NFL team.

Not that the Cardinals can sign all four players on today’s list. But if they don’t re-sign with their former teams or if they don’t beat the Cardinals to the punch, each player listed below will help the Cardinals turn the corner and even return to the playoffs if they pursue and sign.

Again, you won’t see any blockbuster prospects here, given the recent signing of Watt. But you’ll find more than a few familiar names below. Many of which are just scratching the surface of unlocking their true potential.
