Rondale Moore – WR

Rondale Moore proved that he could do more than look good in shorts on a practice field. Before last Friday, Moore dazzled everyone who came out to watch him in camp. But the saying goes, everyone looks good in shorts. And by extension, everyone will look good when they play against players they know during team drills.

But what happens when a player like Moore steps in front of a crowd against a group of players he has never played against? He answered with three receptions on four targets for 23 yards. But Moore also showed off his dual-threat ability against the Cowboys, recording 16 rushing yards on two carries. One of his rush attempts went for nine yards and the other gained seven.

Yes, we still have more questions than answers about Moore. But so far, he’s checked off most of the boxes. Now, he needs to check off the final box: How will he look when he’s playing against starting NFL defenses during the regular season when the games count?

Barring any type of setback, Moore will answer that question on September 12 against the Tennessee Titans. He has given us the green light to be cautiously optimistic.
