Jack Doyle (Indianapolis Colts)

Back in 2013, Jack Doyle was a waiver-wire pickup by the Indianapolis Colts. The 6-foot-6, 262-pounder has been a consistent contributor for the organization, with his best performance taking place in 2017. In 15 starts that year, Doyle racked up 80 receptions, 690 yards, and four touchdowns.

Indianapolis now appears to be gravitating towards a tight end who is four years younger than the 31-year-old Doyle. Mo Alie-Cox was credited with 31 catches for 394 yards and two scores in his 15 games (six starts) for the Colts in 2020.

Doyle’s best days may be behind him, but he could still be a solid addition. It’s certainly an inquiry that should be made by Keim and company. Seeing the two-time Pro Bowler lining up at tight end for the Cards in 2021 would be a sight for sore eyes.
