Mike Gesicki – TE

Arizona would more than likely prefer to bring Zach Ertz (also an unrestricted free agent) back to the nest, but Mike Gesicki of the Miami Dolphins wouldn’t be a bad alternative. The 26-year-old has had a productive stint in South Florida and could prosper even more with a talented passer like Murray throwing him the football.

Maxx Williams, like Ertz, also has an expiring contract. The 27-year-old will have to battle back from the season-ending knee injury he suffered back in September. Whether the Cards will still have any interest in Williams after that major setback remains to be seen.

Gesicki will be looking for an ample raise after earning just $1.38 million this fall. The former Penn State University product is an excellent pass-receiving tight end who has a nose for the end zone. The 6-foot-6, 247-pound Gesicki will certainly be someone to keep an eye on if Ertz does decide to play elsewhere next year.
