5 free agents who the Cardinals need to bring back in 2022

Colt McCoy – QB
Quarterback Colt McCoy proved his worth when he won two out of his three starts for the Cardinals in November. You never know when an emergency will pop up again, so keeping the 35-year-old as Murray’s stand-in beyond this season should certainly be a priority.
The wins that were engineered by McCoy are impressive when you consider the fact that they came against the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks, a pair of the Cards’ division rivals. In addition, both victories occurred on the road, making what the veteran passer accomplished even more admirable.
McCoy’s days as a full-time starter are likely over, so another deal with Arizona is certainly a possibility. A fair offer should be on the table from Keim, resulting in some vital stability for the Cardinals’ backup signal-caller spot going forward.
