The Arizona Cardinals head to Ford Field to take on the Detroit Lions in an attempt to improve to 11-3 on the season.
The Arizona Cardinals have been road warriors in 2021, posting a perfect 7-0 record when not in State Farm Stadium, where they have struggled. The Cardinals also struggle against inferior opponents, and the Detroit Lions have mastered the art of finding ways to lose in 2021. However, their single win was arguably one of the most impressive moments of the 2021 NFL Season.
The Cardinals should get back on track and take care of business against the Lions. But as they have taught us over the past three years playing a team that has won just nine games in that timespan, anything can occur.
And they received some bad news this week regarding receiver DeAndre Hopkins, who will miss the rest of the regular season after opting for MCL surgery. However, the Cardinals have a plethora of puzzle pieces to use in his place on offense.
They are also facing one of the league’s worst defenses overall. The Lions currently rank 28th and have given up the second-highest number of yards-per-play in the league, next to only the New York Jets.
