3 Bold Predictions: Arizona Cardinals vs. Indianapolis Colts – Week 16
By Sion Fawkes
Murray goes vintage
Kyler Murray struggled against the Lions, and given his performances in December, it’s time to question whether he’s a legitimate franchise quarterback or nothing more than a player capable of putting together splash performances. On Sunday, Murray will delay the doubts, going vintage on a stingy Colts defense.
In three of his past four starts, Murray posted a 72.9 or worse quarterback rating and has thrown three touchdown passes compared to 5 interceptions. He also completed a season-low 56.1 percent of his passes against the Lions.
In Week 16, Murray puts together the type of performance we all expected from him last week against the Lions. He will throw for two touchdowns, and he will rush for another. Look for a September/October type of performance from Murray as the Cardinals show the world last week’s loss was nothing more than a bump in the road.
