3 favorable matchups for the Cardinals in Week 18 vs. the Seahawks

Arizona’s pass rush vs. Russell Wilson
The Cardinals’ pass rush owned several favorable matchups in the 2021 NFL Season. And while they have not been the most formidable unit week in and week out, they made life miserable at times for multiple opposing quarterbacks. Russell Wilson is one of those quarterbacks who the Cardinals ravaged for four sacks and 27 yards in Week 11.
The pass rush was so effective in that matchup and they also held Wilson to a 53.85 percent completion rate, the second-lowest of the season following his 50.0 percent outing the previous week against Green Bay.
With the division on the line, look for the Cardinals’ defense to pressure Wilson often and aim for a repeat performance against a quarterback who has a career sack rate of 8.3 percent.
And with the emergence of Victor Dimukeje and Zaven Collins at the edge, it could spell even more trouble for Wilson and his suspect offensive line. Collins, in particular, earned a solid 69.2 grade per Pro Football Focus.
