Todd Heap – TE (2011)

Todd Heap spent his first 10 seasons in Baltimore making a living in the end zone, recording 41 touchdown receptions between 2001 and 2010. Heap also received numerous honors in Baltimore that included two Pro Bowl appearances. He has also since become a member of the Ravens’ Ring of Honor.

A durable player for most of his career, even an aging Heap looked like a good fit in Arizona to hold the fort down at tight-end. However, Heap appeared in just 12 games between 2011 and 2012, starting five of them. During his time with the Cardinals, he recorded 32 receptions, 377 receiving yards, and just one touchdown.

On December 4th, 2012, the Cardinals released Heap after two injury-plagued seasons and unproductive seasons. He retired in 2013 and has since returned to the Ravens’ radio broadcast team in 2017.
