Aeneas Williams – CB (1991)

It’s no secret the Cardinals served as the league’s doormat from 1948 until 1997, posting just two division championships and zero playoff wins. However, Aeneas Williams served as one of the team’s few bright spots. In fact, Williams was an interception machine, logging 46 picks during his 10 seasons with the team.

A third-round pick out of Southern, Williams forged his NFL legacy with six Pro Bowl appearances during his time with the Cardinals, including two First-Team All-Pros and a Second-Team nod in 1994, the same season in which he led the league with nine interceptions.

A member of the 1990s All-Decade Team, Williams has also earned a spot in the Arizona Cardinals Ring of Honor. He finished his career with the St. Louis Rams, where he made two more Pro Bowls and received another First-Team All-Pro nod in 2003. Williams is also a member of the St. Louis Rams 10th Anniversary Team.
