Chandler Jones – LB (2016)
Following the 2015 season, the Cardinals won out on a lopsided trade for Chandler Jones when they admitted defeat on the Jonathan Cooper experiment and shipped him plus a second-round draft pick to New England. A rare victory because Bill Belichick often wins these things.
Between 2016 and 2019, Jones started every game for the Cardinals before a biceps injury ended his 2020 campaign early. However, he bounced back in 2021 and notched up yet another Pro Bowl appearance.
Like Palmer, Jones will most likely be remembered as a member of the team that traded for him as opposed to the team that drafted him.
And while he was a force in New England, Jones has notched double-digit sacks each season as an Arizona Cardinal, sans the 2020 campaign. While it’s unclear Jones will end his career as a member of the Cardinals, odds are in the team’s favor he will retire as one.
