Bring back their own players (preferred method)

Re-sign Christian Kirk in addition to bringing back tight ends Maxx Williams and Zach Ertz. And why not leave the door open for Larry Fitzgerald? Never say never, right? Anyway, bringing back their own serves as the preferred method because the above players know the system. There’s no learning curve required.

Also, each proved their worth in 2021. Kirk had a breakout season with 77 receptions. Ertz returned to form with 56 receptions after posting pedestrian numbers during his final year-and-a-half in Philadelphia. Williams proved himself as a phenomenal blocker and logged stellar outings until a torn ACL ended his season.

Each of the above players also built chemistry with Murray, who will start in 2022 until either he or someone else says otherwise. Re-signing their own can also keep pressure off of DeAndre Hopkins. And with Rondale Moore’s needle pointing north, the Cardinals can boast familiar faces at the skill positions. At least among those at receiver and tight end.
