D’vonte Price (Florida International)

D’vonte Price displays decent size at 6-foot-1 and 210 pounds. His 4.38-second time in the 40-yard dash was one of the fastest-recorded times at this year’s Combine, and he displays outstanding potential. The only issue with Price is that he never carried the ball full-time at FIU and never rushed for over 700 yards. But, he averaged 6.8 yards per carry in 2020, showing he can pick up large chunks of yardage.

The problem is, he’s not a three-down back. And despite his blazing speed, Price also runs with a high pad level, making him easy prey for defenders. He’s also not as elusive as his speed indicates, showing tightness in the hips and even a slow burst.

The upside? Once he hits full speed, no one will catch him. He also possesses enough strength to bull over defenders when needed. As with the other backs on this list, look for Price to stick around draft boards until Day 3.
