Grading the Arizona Cardinals 2019 NFL Draft class
By Sion Fawkes
Seventh-Round Picks
Joshua Miles – OT (Morgan State)
The 248th overall pick out of Murray State, Joshua Miles has so far seen action in 17 games in his three seasons with the team.
Grade: Incomplete
With such a small sample size regarding Miles, it’s hard to provide an accurate grade.
Michael Dogbe – DE (Temple)
The Cardinals selected Michael Dogbe just one pick after Miles. He spent 2019 and 2020 in obscurity before breaking out as far as 249th overall picks are concerned. In 2021, he recorded a sack, 27 combined tackles, two quarterback hits, and a tackle for loss.
Of the trio drafted in the seventh round, Dogbe may have the brightest future.
Grade: A
For a seventh-round pick, Dogbe’s 2021 production shows that he may see an increase in playing time.
Caleb Wilson – TE (UCLA)
Caleb Wilson earned the infamous title of Mr. Irrelevant. So much that the Cardinals waived him in the 2019 preseason. He has bounced around the league ever since.
Grade: C
Hey, at least Wilson has a better NFL prognosis than Hakeem Butler, right?
