Devonte Wyatt – DT (Georgia)
With the exception of J.J. Watt, the Cards possess a fairly ordinary group of defensive linemen. An infusion of talent could be of help to coordinator Vance Joseph, and there’s a particular defender who could potentially elevate the performance of the unit.
The University of Georgia’s Devonte Wyatt would be a terrific addition for Arizona at pick No. 23. The highly-touted defensive tackle earned First-team All-SEC honors in 2021, and he could help the squad with his run-stuffing ability.
In his four collegiate campaigns, Wyatt totaled 113 tackles (12 for a loss), five sacks, and three pass breakups for the Bulldogs. There would be high-fives all around if the 6-foot-3, 315-pound Wyatt is added to the Redbirds roster on April 28.
