The Arizona Cardinals’ second fantasy football option: James Conner – Running Back
Running back James Conner was a fantasy owner’s dream last year, racking up 1,127 yards from scrimmage and a dazzling 18 total touchdowns during his first campaign with the Redbirds.
Would it be fair to expect much of the same from Conner this coming fall?
There’s no reason to think that the 6-foot-1, 233-pound powerhouse can’t duplicate or, even better, the numbers he amassed in 2021.
In fact, the departure of Chase Edmonds could mean an even larger role for Conner with the Cardinals this year.
Now that the secret is out, Conner will more than likely be drafted much sooner in fantasy leagues this summer.
Grab the 27-year-old early on, and watch as the workhorse back reaches the end zone on an almost weekly basis in ’22.
