The 2022 NFL Draft will always be a “What if?” situation for the Arizona Cardinals.

In reference to the Arizona Cardinals trading out of the first round and acquiring Marquise Brown. What if the Cardinals had stayed in the first round and used the one advantage they had over the three other teams in the division?

Of course, the DeAndre Hopkins suspension is something that cannot be changed in this article, but staying in the first round is definitely going to happen in this re-draft. As for who that player would be, we’ll get to that in a moment.

Draft grades were given to the Cardinals by a handful of experts, and the grades they received were mainly on the lower side. Steve Keim has been known to be a better free agent-acquirer than a “drafter.”

So we’ll go through the first three selections and see if the Cardinals get someone new at the picks they had or if they were good enough to make it through the re-draft.
