Kyler Murray deserves some flack for skipping OTAs
After looking at both sides for Murray, he needs some criticism for skipping something that helps establish fundamentals like rapport with his wife receivers at the team facility.
Murray is going to get his contract sooner or later, and will probably get paid very handsomely for his services. So why continue to be so cryptic about what’s going on?
It would do wonders for the Cardinals’ fan base to see their leader out on the practice field. That would bring some relief instead of making them wonder if Murray is going to be the first quarterback to hold out since Matt Leinart did it years ago.
For those trying compare this to Larry Fitzgerald not doing OTAs towards the end of his career, there is only one thing to say. Fitzgerald is Fitzgerald. He can and could do whatever he wants/wanted to. Comparing Murray to Fitzgerald is like mixing oil and water- it’s not going to happen.
