Arizona Cardinals Running Back group is one in transition
Can the Arizona Cardinals find a solid RB2 as they hold a competition for it?
Darrell Williams. Eno Benjamin. Keontay Ingram. These are the three names that will most likely be in the mix for the second spot on the running back depth chart behind Conner.
Williams brings experience from a high-octane offense in Kansas City and emerged as a receiving option last year. Williams is looking to be a better receiving option that Edmonds did an okay job with.
Eno Benjamin got some playing time last year and even made an appearance on Peter Schrager’s “Angry Runs.” Benjamin has the talent to take a 4-yard route to a 40-yard house call, but he has to get on the field- a recurring theme with Arizona Cardinals draft picks.
Keontay Ingram is the newest of the bunch, coming in the 2022 NFL Draft. Ingram will have a good amount of preseason work to show us what he’s got, but Cardinals fans shouldn’t expect to see him on the field very much this season.
Here is your projected 2022 Arizona Cardinals running back depth chart:
- Conner
- Williams
- Benjamin
- Ingram
