Why the Arizona Cardinals haven’t retired Kurt Warner’s number is beyond belief.

Kurt Warner was the guy who turned the Arizona Cardinals’ future around. Warner had a career revival and had the team within 2:37 of winning their first Lombardi Trophy. What would the Cardinals be today without Warner’s efforts?

Warner isn’t the franchise’s leading passer in terms of yards or touchdowns. But back-to-back division titles and five legendary playoff games under his belt while he was in Arizona are enough to retire his number 13 jersey.

Jaron Brown wore it a few years after Warner retired, and most recently was worn by Christian Kirk. Unfortunately, neither of them did the number the justice it deserves, so the Cardinals need to do the right thing and retire it for good.
