The Arizona Cardinals didn’t do so hot in CBS’ rankings of the Top 100 players of 2021.

As good as the Arizona Cardinals were last year, the way they finished has left a sour mark on many Cardinals fans’ and analysts around the NFL world.

So much so that any time that the Arizona Cardinals are looking to be perceived by anyone else outside the organization, you’re not going to get rated that highly.

Love his work or dislike his work, Pete Prisco of CBS Sports ranked the top 100 players of the 2021 NFL season.

The rankings will disappoint you almost as much as the actual 2021 season did. So who was the lowest-ranked Arizona Cardinals player?

Kyler Murray is the Arizona Cardinals’ lowest-ranked player

This seems a little harsh for Kyler Murray, who was a definitive MVP candidate in the first seven weeks of the season. Murray was on his way to the best start in team history and almost pretty much were projected to finish with the number one seed in the NFC for the first time in franchise history.

Murray ended up missing time due to a shoulder injury that benched him for three games. The Cardinals were 2-1 in that time, but the late-season collapse was a huge factor in the ranking. With Murray headed into a contract year, it’s very important that he does not collapse along with his team down the stretch this year.

The only way Murray has to go is up. But this ranking is a bit harsh.
