Arizona Cardinals 1990 first-round draft pick: None

Arizona Cardinals 1991 first-round draft pick:

Wake Technical Comunnity College. EricSwann. 91. player. Stats. Pick Analysis. DT. 32

When you draft a player from a junior college in the first round, that’s one big risk. Fortunately enough for Swann, never playing a down of college football didn’t hurt him. Swann played nine seasons with the Cardinals, racking up 45.5 sacks and 453 combined tackles.

Swann earned two Pro Bowl nods in 1995 and 1996.

Arizona Cardinals 1992 first-round draft pick: None

Arizona Cardinals 1993 first-round draft pick:

RB/Tackle. Georgia, South Carolina. Stats. Pick Analysis. Garrison Hearstand Ernest Dye. 93. player. 32

Hearst would only spend three years with the Cardinals, breaking the 1000-yard mark for the first time in 1995. Hearst went on to play with the Bengals, 49ers, and Broncos before retiring in 2004.

Dye would play offensive line from 1993 to 1996 in Arizona and then spent one season with the St.Louis Rams.

Arizona Cardinals 1994 first-round draft pick:

Miller underperformed his entire time in Arizona, but made his only Pro Bowl as a member of the Browns in 2001, his last year in the league.

Arizona Cardinals 1995 first-round draft pick: none

Arizona Cardinals 1996 first-round draft pick:

Rice had 12.5 sacks as a rookie in 1996 and a crazy 16.5 in 1999 when he made his first Pro Bowl. Rice is more known for his talents in Tampa Bay’s first Super Bowl title in 2002.

Arizona Cardinals 1997 first-round draft pick:

Knight didn’t perform very well. Arguable bust. Next!

Arizona Cardinals 1998 first-round draft pick:

Wadsworth only played three season with the Cardinals, racking up five sacks in rookie season. That was good enough to have him finish third in AP ROY voting, but that would be as elevated as Wadsworth’s career would get.

He left the NFL after the 2000 season.
