Arizona Cardinals players that have the most to gain during Hopkins’ suspension

Antoine Wesley: The surprise of the Arizona Cardinals W.R. corps in 2021

Wesley has a golden opportunity to establish himself and earn more playing time while Hopkins serves his suspension.

As an undrafted free agent out of Texas Tech, he has a lot to prove but did flash potential last season, finding the end zone three times, although two of those scores came in the Arizona Cardinals’ Week 17 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys.

The Cardinals could use Wesley as another weapon in the red zone with his 6’5″ frame and should be able to create mismatches against smaller defensive backs.

If he can gain Murray’s trust and performs well in high-leverage situations, he should get plenty of opportunities to be a staple within this offense.

However, Wesley appears to have the most to gain and should be confident going into the season.
