Eno Benjamin- Running Back

When free agent Darrell Williams arrived back in May, the general belief was that the former Kansas City Chiefs running back would be James Conner’s primary backup.

After all, the 5-foot 11, 219-pound Williams totaled over 1000 yards from scrimmage and eight touchdowns for the high-powered Chiefs offense in 2021.

There’s no arguing with the fact that Williams looks fantastic on paper, but that hasn’t stopped third-year pro-Eno Benjamin from making a strong case for significant playing time. Now, with the regular-season approaching rapidly, Williams may not have the stranglehold on the gig that many thought he had when he joined the Cardinals.

Benjamin’s days as a superstar at Arizona State University, where he racked up 3,492 yards from scrimmage and 31 total touchdowns, have made him a local favorite among Cards fans. However, the former Sun Devil’s popularity would soar even higher if he can overtake Williams as the change-of-pace back for a physical runner like Conner.
