The Arizona Cardinals are facing a plethora of questions heading into the 2022 NFL Season. Here are the five most burning.

With the 2022 NFL Season so close, it seems like the Arizona Cardinals will face more questions than answers. Some are good, others, not so good. So while there is seemingly stability here everywhere from head coach, to general manager, to quarterback, there is just as much uncertainty surrounding a team that started 10-2 last season.

While there are likely dozens of questions surrounding the Cardinals, I have listed the five that fans will want to know about the most. Starting with a question we thought we had answered just two weeks ago.

Five most burning questions for the Arizona Cardinals: Question #1 – What is the long-term answer at CB2?

Unfortunately, Antonio Hamilton will start the season on the non-football injured reserve from burn injuries suffered at his home. The upside is that he, at this point, is not slated to miss significant time.

But who will replace Hamilton in the short-term? Marco Wilson is the obvious choice, but he is most likely not a long-term solution if Hamilton misses more than four games. Trayvon Mullen came over in a trade with the Las Vegas Raiders, but will he be up to scratch when the 2022 regular season rolls around?

Right now, Wilson will likely lock down the CB2 job, but if he sputters, look for Mullen to usurp him. At this point, there is no one else on the roster even remotely trustworthy to step into the CB2 spot. Our best hope is that Hamilton can return by Week 5, especially if Wilson and Mullen struggle.
