How will the Arizona Cardinals offense fare without DeAndre Hopkins?

With DeAndre Hopkins suspended for six contests, someone in the Arizona Cardinals receiving room needs to step up. Fortunately, this is one area where the team is relatively strong, with the likes of Marquise Brown, A.J. Green, Rondale Moore, Andy Isabella, and even Greg Dortch capable of excelling with significant playing time.

And let’s not forget about Zach Ertz, Maxx Williams, and Trey McBride at tight end. Overall, the Cardinals should fare just fine without Hopkins. And they will have, or should have, a good problem on their hands when he returns to the lineup.

Kliff Kingsbury has long been known for his “Air Raid” offense. A philosophy where an offense moves the ball downfield by passing at least 65% of the time. Now that the pieces are in place, it is likely he can employ a receiver-by-committee approach even when Hopkins returns to the lineup.

With or without Hopkins, the Cardinals should be fun to watch. And it should be a near-given that the passing game reaches new heights in 2022.
