The Arizona Cardinals suffered a tough but inspiring loss against the NFL’s best team in the Philadelphia Eagles. Now, they face an old rival in Seattle.

The Arizona Cardinals have an opportunity to extend their winning streak on the road in Week 6 as they square off against the Seattle Seahawks. While the Seahawks seemingly looked to be in rebuilding mode, Geno Smith is pulling off his best impression of Rich Gannon and has become a late bloomer in the league, tossing nine touchdown passes to two interceptions, among other accolades.

But the Cardinals hot defense and surprising secondary should pose a challenge for the resurgent quarterback. Overall, it should be a hot matchup between two teams looking to keep pace with the division-leading San Francisco 49ers, where another presumed backup quarterback is leading the charge. So what are the odds the Cardinals pull this one out? Keep reading for a breakdown.

Arizona Cardinals vs. Seahawks Odds – Week 6

Per Fan Duel, the Arizona Cardinals are currently (-2.5) favorites as of Wednesday, October 12th on the road against the Seahawks. Their current over/under sits at 51.5, and the Cardinals hold a -144 moneyline. The moneyline for the Seahawks is +122.

Arizona Cardinals vs. Seahawks Prediction – Week 6

The Cardinals vs. Seahawks matchup will come down to a great offense versus a great defense. And in these games, I am always taking a great defense. Last week, the Cardinals held the mighty Philadelphia Eagles offense to just 20 points, six points in the second half.

And while they are facing an offense of similar capabilities in Week 6, the young secondary plus a sound pass rush led in the season’s early stages by Zach Allen should combine to make Smith’s life miserable for a few hours.

While I still don’t believe the Cardinals offense will do much, they will do enough to escape Lumen Field with a 21-18 win over their division rival. And at 3-3, the Cardinals will have the stage set for DeAndre Hopkins’ triumphant return.
