Kelvin Beachum – Right Tackle

The fact that Kelvin Beachum is included in this article is not necessarily an indictment on his play in 2022. Arizona’s starting right tackle has certainly held his own, and the club’s hierarchy would likely agree with that assessment.

One reason that the Cardinals may move on from Beachum in ’23 is the presence of Josh Jones, the third-year offensive lineman out of the University of Houston. The talented 25-year old has watched from the sidelines for two out of his three NFL campaigns, and there’s talk that Jones will be ready to take over at right tackle next season.

Beachum will be an unrestricted free agent when the offseason arrives, and there’s no guarantee that the Cards will offer him a new deal. A backup role for the veteran is certainly a possibility, but a scenario in which Beachum simply moves on from the franchise could also be on the table.
