The Arizona Cardinals had one tough season in 2022. But they still had some bright spots. Here are the top 10 Redbirds from the regular season.

Wow, what a forgettable season. I’m sure we’re all glad that the Arizona Cardinals can finally focus on 2023 with a new front office and head coach. Well, let’s hope a new front office and a head coach coming in from outside the organization, as there will be a lot of angry fans if owner Michael Bidwill messes this up.

Anyway, let’s focus on the positives, and that includes 10 players who played well in what was an otherwise forgettable 2022 campaign. So without further ado, here is the ultimate list.

10 – Greg Dortch

2022 Statistics: 52 receptions, 467 yards, 9.0 YPC, 2 touchdowns

Let’s be honest: Dortch could have been the leading receiver for the Arizona Cardinals. Problem was, recently-fired head coach Kliff Kingsbury decided to insert the injury-prone Rondale Moore into the lineup when the latter was healthy enough to return. When Moore went down with another injury, Dortch stepped right back in and never missed a beat.

9 – James Conner

2022 Statistics: 183 carries, 782 yards, 4.3 YPC, 7 touchdowns

Conner was one of the bigger disappointments earlier this season, but he turned it around and came on strong toward the end of the year. He saw action in just 13 games this season, and if he played in just a couple more, he may have threatened to reach 1,000 rushing yards.

8 – Isaiah Simmons

2022 Statistics: 99 combined tackles, 5 tackles for loss, 2 forced fumbles, 2 interceptions

Simmons was another player who started off slow but finished strong. He also got better playing multiple positions this season, and it will foreshadow what he will do in 2023. Look for fewer splash plays and more consistency next season, and that could catapult him into the Top Five on this list.
