7 – Zach Allen

2022 Statistics: 47 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, 19 quarterback hits

Allen is one player the Arizona Cardinals must re-sign for 2023. And given his steady improvement to date, the incoming front office should prioritize his return. With J.J. Watt heading into retirement, Allen could make a huge leap next season if he comes back to the desert.

6 – DeAndre Hopkins

2022 Statistics: 64 receptions, 717 yards, 11.7 YPC, 3 touchdowns

Hopkins served a six-game suspension, which hampered his numbers. However, he still managed to finish with over seven receptions per game in 2022. If he returns next season, expect to see the former All-Pro receiver return to form.

5 – Marquise Brown

2022 Statistics: 67 receptions, 709 yards, 10.6 YPC, 3 touchdowns

Brown only needed 10 games this season to haul in 67 catches. He edges out Hopkins because during the latter’s absence, he proved he could be a legitimate WR1 even at his smaller size. If Hopkins is back in an Arizona Cardinals uniform in 2023, look for Brown to further reap the benefits.
