Dan Quinn

Six years ago, Dan Quinn had the Atlanta Falcons on the verge of the first Vince Lombardi Trophy in the history of the franchise. However, 31 unanswered points by Tom Brady and the rest of the New England Patriots offense shattered that dream.

That brutal loss doesn’t take away from the fact that Quinn is a very capable head coach. Arizona is apparently aware of that, due to the fact that the current defensive coordinator of the Dallas Cowboys was scheduled to interview with Ossenfort and company on January 22nd.

If the Arizona Cardinals can’t get Payton, Quinn would be one heck of a fallback option. The New Jersey native would likely succeed in bringing a well-qualified staff with him to the desert, one of several reasons that Ossenfort should strongly consider hiring the 52-year-old Quinn.
