The Arizona Cardinals have traded Marvin Harrison Jr. to the Houston Texans, moving on from their former No. 4 overall pick just three seasons later. That breakup could ultimately be in both parties' best interests. Harrison reunites with Ohio State teammate C.J. Stroud, while the Cardinals officially start the next chapter of their rebuild.

That doesn't mean their trades should stop here. Considering they're essentially already out of the playoff picture in October, Arizona should consider raising its long-term ceiling by continuing to stockpile future assets.

1. Josh Sweat

Josh Sweat survived countless trade rumors this offseason. However, teams around the league still viewed the Cardinals as potential sellers once they inevitably fell out of playoff contention this season in a stacked NFC West.

They're unfortunately well on their way, now falling to 1-4 after losing four straight games. With that being the case, it's worth it for Arizona to entertain offers on its veteran linebacker to see if they can get future assets that better align with the timeline of this rebuild.

2. Budda Baker

A similar thought process should apply to Cardinals star safety Budda Baker.

The Cardinals have now surrendered 30-plus points in four consecutive games, which has been the biggest factor in their losing streak. Losing Baker would only make things worse.

That said, this last month of football has shown that Arizona has far too many holes defensively to be covered by one star player. With so few foundational pieces going forward, it could make sense to sacrifice a star like Baker to become a more balanced unit.

3. Gardner Minshew II

It's safe to say Jacoby Brissett's reworked deal isn't aging well. We would've preferred the underrated value option in Gardner Minshew II, as the Cardinals likely would've been in a similar position with him.

Mike LaFleur isn't going to make a quarterback change next week, noting that the problems in their blowout loss to the Lions go well beyond who's the signal caller. But if Arizona does decide to make a midseason swap, it should be in favor of third-round rookie Carson Beck. Minshew gives them a better chance to win in the short term, but to roster both him and Brissett is redundant.

Quarterbacks have unfortunately already been getting injured all across the league this season. Perhaps the Cardinals could capitalize on another team's misfortune by trading them Minshew to be their veteran stopgap.
