In all likelihood, Kyler Murray has played his last snaps with the Arizona Cardinals. It is a cold take to say that the 28-year-old dual-threat quarterback is done.
Murray signed a five-year, $230 million extension back in 2022, and the Cardinals will be seeing the biggest cap hit on that contract if they don’t trade him. Murray is due $52 million in 2026. This could prove to be a burden, as not many teams would want to take on a contract of that kind.
