The Arizona Cardinals have been plagued by injuries all over the field in 2025, specifically at wide receiver. The most notable player to be hit by the injury bug is Marvin Harrison Jr., who is now on track to miss his second consecutive game with a heel injury.

This isn’t the only time Harrison has missed, as he was sidelined in Weeks 11 and 12 after undergoing an appendectomy. The team has relied heavily on Michael Wilson as their No. 1 wide receiver, and he has produced quite nicely. In three games as the top target, he has three 100-yard games to his name. The third-year out of Stanford hauled in his first touchdown while fulfilling the role of being the Cardinals’ top receiver.

Aside from Harrison’s absence, the Cardinals have also lost Greg Dortch for the season with a chest injury. The team has made plenty of additions to its practice squad, with the most recent being Trent Sherfield Sr. being called up to the active roster. This pretty much sums up how Arizona has been riddled with injuries.

Luckily for them, the wide receiver core should benefit from one injury to their opponent. Texans cornerback Kamari Lassiter did not practice the first two days, as he is recovering from a foot injury that he suffered last weekend en route to a 20–10 win over the Kansas City Chiefs.

Lassiter, 22, has been a vital part of the Texans’ secondary alongside Derek Stingley Jr. and Jalen Pitre. Lassiter grades as the eleventh-best corner according to Pro Football Focus, playing incredibly well against the run, as well as in coverage.

Pending tomorrow’s practice designations, the Cardinals' depth chart will likely be Michael Wilson (No. 1), Andre Baccellia (No. 2), and Trent Sherfield Sr. (No. 3). Wilson, in all likelihood, will be matched up with Stingley all game long if Harrison is unable to go.

With Houston having a good secondary despite the potential of being without Kamari Lassiter, it wouldn’t surprise us if it were to be another big day from Trey McBride, who leads the league in receiving yards as a tight end.

With options at receiver looking incredibly slim, it would not surprise us in the slightest if McBride were to eclipse 85 yards receiving, along with a touchdown reception.

While neither Harrison is officially listed as out, the fact that neither one of them has practiced the first two days points to them not playing, or at the very least being game-time decisions. Kickoff at 11 a.m. Mountain Time.
