It is an understatement to say that the Arizona Cardinals are getting close to determining their final decision regarding head coach, especially after the result of yesterday’s NFC Championship Game.
The team saw three candidates in the rivalry game between the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks. Those three are Mike LaFleur, Chris Shula, and Klint Kubiak. All of them would make amazing coaches from the way they have led their units over the past season.
However, we believe one in particular would be the right fit for the Cardinals' job, as he has been scheduled for a second interview with the team. We are talking about Mike LaFleur.
LaFleur, 38, was the mastermind of an offense that was full of talent. From quarterback Matthew Stafford to the best wide receiver duo in the league in Puka Nacua and Davante Adams, there was no question that this offense was going to be elite.

The younger brother of Green Bay head coach Matt LaFleur, Mike has taken a relatively similar path to get to where he is now.
If he were to take the job in Arizona, he would benefit from a great group of skill position players, just like he has in L.A.
Headlined by the league’s best tight end in Trey McBrude, Arizona also has a pair of solid wide receivers in Marvin Harrison Jr. and Michael Wilson.
Despite the mass amount of talent amongst the three pass catchers, they couldn’t seem to get going all at the same time. The goal for LaFleur, if hired, is to get the trio all on the same page with whoever is under center in 2026.
If LaFleur is able to do this, it will give Arizona something to look forward to for years to come.
