The Cardinals are riding a five-game losing streak out of their bye week, and look to put that to an end on Monday Night Football against the Dallas Cowboys.

Arizona has been without Kyler Murray since Week Five, and that will remain the case as the 28-year-old dual-threat quarterback continues to nurse the foot injury he suffered against the Tennessee Titans about a month ago. While head coach Jonathan Gannon announced he wasn’t starting, he did say that Murray would back up Jacoby Brissett on Monday.

This could be the week we see Marvin Harrison Jr. turn it around, as the fourth overall pick from 2024 hasn’t performed as advertised in his second year of pro ball. However, with the matchup that the Cardinals have in front of them, it wouldn’t surprise us in the slightest if the 23-year-old prodigy had a breakout game.

The Cowboys have been one of the worst defensive units against the pass under Matt Eberflus, as they have allowed 273 yards per game — the worst in the league. They will also be without their top cornerback Trevon Diggs, as he is still on IR recovering from a knee injury.

Harrison will be matching up against DaRon Bland, who received a lucrative contract extension over the offseason. The fifth-year corner set the record in 2023 for most pick-sixes in a single season (5), recording nine interceptions on the season.

In 2025, Bland has been just average in coverage, earning a 70 grade from Pro Football Focus, twenty-second among all cornerbacks. But he’s been missing the it factor that he possessed in 2023 when he set the record.

If there is a game for Harrison to turn it around, it is definitely this one. He has a quarterback who is not afraid to throw downfield, and that, factored in with a poor passing defense, is the recipe needed for a breakout game.

Our prediction for Marvin Harrison Jr.: 10 catches, 120 yards, 1 touchdown
