This bird has HANDS, yo. Here's hoping he racks up the receptions this season.

Kyler Murray held his first-annual Kyler Murray Foundation Celebrity Softball Game on May 17, bringing together some of his teammates (and a few NFL rivals) for a day of fun while supporting the Kyler Murray Foundation’s mission to “provide educational resources, leadership development, and opportunities for veterans and underserved children.

Trey McBride, Mack Wilson Sr., James Conner, Calais Campbell, and Michael Wilson all hit the field at Salt River Fields, alongside Cardinals legend Larry Fitzgerald, MLB Network’s A.J. Andrews, Phoenix Suns’ Tyus Jones, rapper Roy Wood$, and singer/actor Asher Angel.

At the event, Marvin Harrison Jr. hinted as to why he (likely) won’t have many fumbles in the 2025 season.

Marvin Harrison Shows Off His Impressive Juggling Skills

In a video captured by the Arizona Cardinals’ official Instagram, Marvin Jr. and Budda Baker warm up by juggling three softballs. Budda’s first, juggling with ease, before tossing the softballs to his teammate.

Marvin Jr. catches all three softballs and begins to juggle. “One hand?” someone offscreen says, but it doesn’t make Marvin Jr. lose his concentration. Even at the end, when it looked like one of the softballs was about to get away from him, Marvin Jr. reached out and made sure that none dropped.

So, fumbles in 2025? Shouldn’t be a concern.

Dropped catches aren’t a concern with Marvin Jr.

He only recorded only a single fumble in his rookie season. The error came on Nov. 3, 2024, when the Cardinals faced the Chicago Bears. Harrison fumbled on his first catch of the game, what Kellan Olson of Arizona Sports at Night called the “only blemish” on the 29-9 victory over the Bears.

The main issue with that game is that Marvin Harrison Jr. didn’t do much else. He only had two catches in that game (out of five attempts) for just 34 yards.

Marvin Jr. ended his rookie year with 62 receptions for 885 yards and eight touchdowns. While it’s not bad, many were expecting the Cardinals' 2024 first-round draft pick to be more spectacular.

It could be that he and Murray haven’t locked in yet. In Harrison’s first year, Murray targeted him only 116 times. That’s less than seven average attempts per game. And Murray knows he needs to improve his chemistry with Marvin Jr.

"For him to have eight touchdowns and feel like he didn't even scratch the surface, that's saying something,” Murray told Arizona Sports’ Cardinal Corner in April. “Obviously, me and him have to be better and we will be better. But I loved where he was mentally at the end of the season.”

Murray praised Marvin Jr. for being “more comfortable” with the team and coaching staff at the end of the season.

Murray said he understood how Marvin Jr. wanted to “come in and prove himself,” because he was like that, too.

“As [Marvin Jr.] gets more comfortable, he’s going to continue to grow. I truly believe that,” said Murray.
