ARLINGTON, Tex. ---
Kyler Murray (QB) - ACTIVE
By far the biggest question mark heading into Week 9 is Kyler Murray. While he isn’t starting, he will still be active and serve as the team’s backup to Jacoby Brissett, who will be making his third consecutive start for the team. Head coach Jonathan Gannon hinted at Murray “having a role” tonight, something to keep an eye on as the game goes on and different situations develop.
Emari Demercado (RB) - ACTIVE
While Gannon announced that Bam Knight will be starting the game, Demercado will be active after getting the thumbs-up on Saturday. Dealing with a lingering ankle injury, Demercado hasn’t seen action since the team’s Week 6 loss to Indianapolis. Arizona also elevated Michael Carter from the practice squad ahead of the game. Expect action from all three backs tonight.
Will Johnson (CB) - ACTIVE
Popping up on the team’s injury report late on Friday with a groin injury, Johnson has officially been listed as active for tonight. The rookie corner has impressed many thus far in 2025, but he has been dealing with this injury that has nagged him since college. The amount of playing time he gets isn’t known yet, but it would not surprise us if he is put on a snap count, as he has been dealing with groin injuries since his time at Michigan.
BJ Ojulari (EDGE) - OUT
Still recovering from the torn ACL he suffered in training camp ahead of the 2024 season, Ojulari started 2025 on the PUP/reserve list. However, his 21-day practice window opened on October 30 and he was listed as inactive for tonight out of precaution. Gannon thought Ojulari looked great in practice over the past week but acknowledged that he “wasn't ready yet.” He will have to wait at least another week before making his first appearance in almost two years.
