The Arizona Cardinals are still in the middle of a search for their next head coach, and the team has reached out to a plethora of candidates, 14 to be exact. General manager Monti Ossenfort has established himself a select group of guys to pick from, hoping to find the guy to lead the franchise out of this crop.

On another note, two teams have already found their coaches of the future. The New York Giants officially agreed to terms on a five-year contract with Super Bowl-champion John Harbaugh, and the Atlanta Falcons have hired former Cleveland head coach Kevin Stefanski.

Time is ticking for Ossenfort to decide on who his next hire is going to be, and luckily for him, he will get to see a pair of candidates in today’s slate of games.

Cardinals will get a look at Rams OC Mike LaFleur and DC Chris Shula

The Los Angeles Rams take on the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field today, a game with frigid temperatures forecasted. A lot on the line for both teams, but especially for the Rams, who may lose one of their coordinators to a head coaching job.

Mike Lafleur, the brother of Matt Lafleur, is one of the masterminds of the offensive system. He, along with head coach Sean McVay have taken quarterback Matthew Stafford to new heights. Sure, he has the best wide receiver duo in football with Puka Nacua and Davante Adams, but you can’t make it work if you don’t have a great play caller.

On the other side of the ball, Chris Shula has led an excellent L.A. defense headlined by the play of Jared Verse and Kobie Turner up front. He has led an incredibly versatile defense.

Not only would Arizona want to hire either of the two because of their success, but it would also be stealing from a division rival.

Cardinals fans should have all eyes on this Rams/Bears game that starts at 4:30 p.m. Mountain Time.
