Marvin Harrison Jr. did not have the second season he had hoped for in 2026, as the former No. 4 overall pick from 2024 missed five games with a heel injury and appendicitis. Even when he did play, he wasn’t as big an impact as coaches, executives, and fans had first imagined
In 12 games, Harrison caught 41 passes for 608 yards and four touchdowns. When he was inactive, he was overshadowed by third-year wide receiver Michael Wilson, who eclipsed 1,000 yards receiving for the first time in his career.
In the games, Harrison missed, Wilson had 499 yards receiving and three touchdowns, and earned way more targets.
In his first two years of NFL action, Harrison has not lived up to the “generational talent” claims that were stamped on his name coming out of college at Ohio State. Trust us, even he can tell you himself that he feels the same way.
It was an incomplete season for me, really," Harrison said

Despite the season full of adversity for the 23-year-old, this should be a positive sign for Cardinals fans, as Harrison will have a full offseason to get healthy and work everything out.
2026 will be a different year for Harrison, with a brand new coaching staff coming in, and possibly a brand new quarterback.
Rumors are forming that Kyler Murray may be on his way out of Arizona after not playing since Week 5, and as we know, Jacoby Brissett is not the long-term answer at the position.
The one thing that will stay constant for now is the general manager who took a chance on Harrison, and that is Monti Ossenfort, who kept his job despite an almost complete cleaning of the house.
It will be exciting to see how Harrison responds in 2026.
