Week 18: vs. Seattle

This is one of those more unique games that can go in several directions. The Seattle Seahawks could be fighting for a playoff spot or a specific seed, or they could be locked in, and this may be a meaningless game. 

The Cardinals may be playing spoiler here, and for many players on the roster, this will serve as their last chance to audition to play a pivotal role on what will be at least a slightly better team next season. Therefore, you have players fighting for their jobs on the Redbirds, so this contest will also hold some high stakes even if they aren’t going to the playoffs. 

Overall, this could be an easy win for the Cards if the Seahawks rest starters, or it could be a more memorable matchup than many future NFL historians will give it credit for. For the purposes of this piece, I’ll be optimistic and say the Cards take their fourth and final win of the season.
