3 burning questions for the Arizona Cardinals heading into Week 15

The Arizona Cardinals enter Week 15 vs. arguably the NFL’s toughest team in the San Francisco 49ers, so there are naturally more questions than answers.

2 - Can the Cardinals passing defense play better this time around?

The last time the Cardinals played the 49ers, they gave up 271 passing yards, which was the fourth-highest number in their 13 games played. But prior to Week 15, the Cards have limited cornerback Marco Wilson, who was particularly bad in that matchup. In Week 4, he allowed three completions on three targets for 73 yards, and 24.3 yards per reception.

This week, the likes of Garrett Williams and Kei’Trel Clark will headline the cornerback unit should they stay healthy all week. Budda Baker also missed that Week 4 matchup with a hamstring injury, and he will also line up in the secondary.

However, this doesn’t mean the Arizona Cardinals will perform any better this time around, as Brock Purdy and Company are coming off of a sensational performance vs. the Seattle Seahawks. Therefore, the Cardinals best bet is to come up with just enough stops to keep things close.
