Short Passes

Just a few other tid-bits from the the land of the Arizona Cardinals today.
LT Mike Gandy was able to practice today. His status for this weeks game is still not known, however they expect him to be able to practice on Wednesday and may be able to make a better determination then.
C Al Johnson and DT Gabe Watson may be able to practice a little come Wednesday.
The Cardinals Practice Squad was announced:
Wide receivers Lance Long and Onrea Jones (from Indianapolis), defensive linemen Keilen Dykes and Jason Banks, cornerbacks Michael Adams and Wilrey Fontenot (from Atlanta) and offensive lineman Pat Ross and Anthony Oakley.
I like the fact that Ross was able to be re-signed to the practice squad after clearing waivers. It’s a nice insurance policy with the uncertainty of Al Johnson right now. I was a little surprised to see him cut in the first place.
Tuesday is an off-day, the normal off-day for NFL teams playing on Sunday’s. The team returns to practice on Wednesday.
