Warner Named NFC Offensive Player of the Week

Job well done Mr. Warner!

In news I fully expected to hear after his perfect performance on Sunday, Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner today was named NFC Offensive Player of the week.  After acheiving a perfect passer rating of 158.3 on Sunday, the first for Warner since his 2000 Super Bowl season with St. Louis and the first for a Cardinal since Jim Hart did it in 1975, there had to be no doubt with his 3 TD’s and 0 INT.

Although Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers had a good week, Warner was that much better.  I don’t expect him to be perfect against Washington this week, I just hope he plays well enough to ensure a Cardinals 3-0 start.  Only 5 days and counting till the next game and I can’t wait!

Go Cards!
