Report: Kurt Warner to Retire

Adam Schefter from ESPN.com is reporting that Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner is going to retire after the playoffs are over.
Warner is in the first year of a two-year contract. After receiving a concussion in November against the St. Louis Rams, it isn’t as shocking as one might expect. I am a little interested in the timing of the report. Also, nothing had been reported on it prior to today.
So it seems, regardless of a win or loss, today will be Warner’s final game at University of Phoenix Stadium.
