Mike Brown Visits the Cardinals

My only question when I heard Mike Brown was visiting the Arizona Cardinals was why?

Don’t get me wrong, I like what the guy has to offer.  He is a very good player.  He actually made ti through a whole season in 2009 without injury, something that has dogged the local player from Scottsdale and Nebraska alum.  I ask why the visit only because the Cardinals seem to be set in the defensive backfield.  Someone of his calibur can’t ride the bench.

I have been reading some locally are concerned with his age.  I don’t worry so much about his age as I do his ability to stay healthy for a full season.  I’ve not seen many players with the bad luck that has followed the former Chicago Bears safety most of his career.

Someone like him sholdn’t go unemployed for long.  I just don’t see how he fits in with the Arizona Cardinals right now.  Maybe I am missing something?
