Patrick Peterson is the Guy at Five!

The Arizona Cardinals did NOT screw this one up.  They took CB Patrick Peterson from LSU with the number five pick in the 2011 NFL Draft.  After a lot of guess work, the pick is in and I love it.  I absolutely love it.  They did themselves right on this night.  Peterson was the best overall on ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr’s board.  The QB position now remains a mystery.  Expect the Cards to take at least one later.

Peterson played in the SEC.  He has so much upside and so much to offer.   The rest of the Cardinals draft could go belly up and this would still be considered a great draft.  Peterson is that great a pick.  Of course I hope the rest of the draft goes this well.  Stay tuned.
