Cardinals Have a Chance Sunday to Show Who They Really Are

The Arizona Cardinals face the San Francisco 49’ers on Sunday.  That much we know.  What we don’t know is which Cards team will show up against the 8-1 division leaders.  With five games out of the division lead with seven games left to play, the division is all but the Niners’ no matter what happens.  What the Cards can control though is their play on the field and their own attempt to get back to a respectable record.

The Cards have a chance to right a ship that has been sinking since week two.  The last couple of weeks have started that healing process.  Not many were giving them a chance to even beat the Rams two weeks ago at home.  Now they have run off consecutive victories against the Rams and the Eagles.  A win on Sunday against the Niners, things might change in a hurry.

The Cards, although most likely out of the wild-card race, are not completely out of it yet.  They are only three games out of a wild-card spot.  The way things have gone in the NFC this year, anything is possible.  First thing first though, they have a really tough one on Sunday.

San Francisco has surprised many this year, myself included.  That doesn’t mean I can’t be surprised again and that’s what we are all hoping on Sunday, is a surprise, in a good way.
