Cardinals Play Four of Final Five at Home

The NFL schedule makers weren’t kind early to the Arizona Cardinals, at least from a home game perspective.  However, with just five weeks left in the NFL Regular Season, they will get to play four of those weeks at home.  The only road game?  Christmas Eve at the Cincinnati Bengals.  They don’t leave home again until Christmas Eve.  Merry Christmas indeed.  Maybe the Cards, who are 2-2 at home this season, can rack up at least a couple of wins in these next three games, all at home.

The Cards will start this week against the NFC East leading Dallas Cowboys.  It won’t be easy and I would not expect the type of game you saw last Christmas night in Glendale when the Cards upset the Cowboys 27-26.  I still give the Cards a shot to win though.  Anything can happen against the Cowboys.

Then they have home games against the Cleveland Browns and San Francisco 49’ers.  The Niners will be tough.  The Browns I’m sure will be a tough one too, but you have to give the Cards the edge in that one, right?  Then they have the Bengals on the road.  They finish the season at home on January 1st against the Seattle Seahawks.  It is quite conceivable the Cards could finish 8-8.  I say could because it’s always would’ve, could’ve, should’ve with the Cards.  This season has been no exception.
